OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT RULES SMALL BOAT BASS CLUB 2007 (Condensed)

ALLOWABLE FISH. |
| |
Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and Kentucky Spots. |
| |
|
| |
LIMITS. |
| |
Five fish. Which must be at least 12". The best five are used to score fish points. |
| |
|
| |
MEASURING. |
| |
Wet your hands and the board before measuring your fish. All fish are to be measured on an official club (check-it stick) board. The fish is to be measured with it's mouth closed and head against the end of the board. The tail can be fanned. Indicate length in half-inch increments up to 15 inches. Bass over 15 inches (Missouri's) are to be measured and carded to the eighth of an inch. |

CATCH AND RELEASE. |
| |
All bass are to be measured and returned back to the water immediately. One bass per year may be kept for the purpose of trophy mounting. |

PAIRING CONTESTANTS |
| |
All wishing to compete must give notice at or prior to the meeting preceding the tournament. Pairing and launch order will be decided by draw. First boater drawn will be paired with first non-boater drawn and will have first launch. Second drawn etc. Guest's will be permited to fish once it is determined that all members wishing to compete are included. In the event we have more boaters then non-boaters and no guest's, boaters will be paired. First drawn will be boater, second drawn will be non-boater etc until all who wish to fish are paired. If it should be that a boater is drawn from his boat more then once each season he may opt not to accept the draw and all positions will be redrawn.

BOAT USE |
| |
Each contestant shall have the opportunity to select the fishing water for one half of the day. Each contestant shall have equal opportunity to fish from the front of the boat. No contestant shall operate the boat in such a manner as to handicap his partner. |

PERMITTED FISHING LOCATIONS |
| |
All fishing is to be done from a boat within the shorline boundaries of the tounament lake. With the exception being any areas marked as off limits. One should not fish within 25 yards of an anchored contestant unless invited to do so. |

TACKLE AND EQUIPMENT |
| |
Artificial lures only. No live or prepared baits. Exception being pork rinds, strips etc. Only one rod may be used at a time. Trolling is not permitted. |

ALCOHOL |
| |
Not permitted during tournament hours. |
| |

BIG STRINGER POOL , BIG BASS POOL |
| |
Entry is voluntary. Entry fee is $5.00 each pool or $10.00 for both. Big stringer pay back is 50% to first place, 30% to second place and 20% to third place. The big bass pool payes back 100% to big fish. In the event of a tie see rules on tie breaker. |

BOAT AND MOTOR RESTICTIONS |
| |
Any boat and motor are allowed, We are restricted to no wake no pass for the first 30 minutes of the tournament then lake rules apply. The boater is to insure his craft compies with all state and local laws with respect to insurance, registration, safty equipment and it's operation. It is the non boater responsibitily to ensure he has a proper fitting life jacket onboard. It is suggested that when operation at greater then no wake speed, everyone on board should wear a life jacket.
