Small Boat Bass Club New Membership

	The Small Boat Bass Club was founded in 1976 by a group of local bass fishermen who wanted to teach and learn from each other the sport of competitive bass fishing. The club is directed by elected officers who are guided by established rules and by laws to promote fair, friendly competition among all members participating in any organized event.
	Currently the club offers members two different fishing series each year. One being our Tournament Series, the other our Calcutta Series. You can fish in either one or both Series. One has no influence on the other.  The Tournament Series is a seven event format. We do travel some in this Series. These are eight hour events. We begin in April and wrap it up in October. In this Series we draw partners, score daily catch for bragging rights and a trophy at each tournament. The best five of seven tournaments for the year are scored for year end MR. BASS title.  The Calcutta Series is more informal. Fish with whom you would like with first consideration being given to members. This format is based on nine, 5 hour events held on Saturday mornings on local area (city) lakes. Travel is kept to a minimum. Members who place in the top three on any of these Calcutta events qualify to fish the Tournament of Champions for the Calcutta Series at the end of the season..
	Membership Requirements.  Applicant must have a desire to learn, teach and share information with respect to the sport of competitive Bass Fishing.  Club dues are $25.00 per year, due prior to our first Tournament in April.  Calcutta dues are $20.00 per year, due prior to the first Calcutta event of the season. Payback is 100% to Calcutta Series winners.
