Partly cloudy skies, 33 degrees in the morning with calm winds giving way to 55+ degrees at finish with 15 mph winds. Water temps around 50 degrees.

The main ramp. As soon as you pull in buy the camping office take your next left and follow the road down to the ramp. Its on the NE side.

There are at least three ramps on the lake that I know of

There are two ramps on the north side (main entrance) turn west at the burgerking when entering town and when you see the sign for Banner turn south go just past the lake office then turn left (east) at first sign for boat ramp. Follow it down and there you be.

so did you go off the one on the one by the dam on the west/north side or the one on the same side further away from the dam

I would suppose you could put in at any of the three ramps, but most likely the "blast off" will take place at the main ramp (closest to the dam). You can see the one across the lake from there and the other one at the camp ground is almost within walking distance.
