Keep a backseat open for me for this one. I am going to be in town for this one for sure. Can't wait to be up there again. It's a fun little lake. Now as long as I can get on the fish like I did last time Randy and I were there..... Smile

FYI for everyone:

The current plan is to transfer the tourney permit and fish brown instead of blue. Jim Collins was nice enough to go and take a look at both lakes. Blue is in bad shape, while brown is pretty much full. I will post mid week with updated info once I'm able to get in touch with the fisheries biologist for the region.

It's as much as a done deal Pickle. Just need to clear up the formalities. No tourney on brown and blue not fishable. I'm sure the guy won't have a problem. Even if he does we will probably just buy a permit for blue Smile

Unless we draw and only have 3-5 boats for blue, it just won't be feasible.

Brown is just a few miles further north on I-29 John, Salix I think is the exit. Blue has some nice fish but I've heard some good things from Brown as well

I'm for any lake I have never fished before. I like that there are no boating restrictions it's always fun to open the boat up a little.

Browns did very well at brown last time we had a tourny on brown
Brown holds very quality fish
To bad it didn't have the brown fish along with the green fish
