Yes the problem with verifying fish is a bigger concern than the gas. I think we used to say anything over 15in had to be verified Well maybe we need to move that to 18in to be able to livewell it, you can't really expect people to throw a bunch of 16-17teens back lol. I think this is something that has to be addressed.

Well we definitely need some kind of system in place - after all sombody could out and out steal my $5 Shocked

Come on guys - if we can't trust one another what are we doing?

Well guys here is a system I think that is very simple and easy to follow and understand....

If the law allows you to keep X amount of bass over 15" ,if the lake allows it, if not then whatever the lake limit is be it 16,17, 18" or whatever it may be... then measure the ones over 15" or the minimum length limit and throw them in the livewell after you measure them to have someone else verify they are above the minimum length limit at a time that is convenient for both of you (be it during the tourny or at the ramp).... If the minimum length limit is above the 15" mark then trust whoever it may be that the length of the bass is correct because you can't put it in the livewell and throw the ones that are above the higher length limit to have verified... this doesn't apply to the ones that are under 15"

Also one could take a pic of the bass on the board with the numbers in clear sight on the pic and the score card in the pic so everyone knows that it was taken on the day of the tourny. Then you could just show someone at the ramp that these are the fish you are going to have on the card.... granted this way wouldn't work out for everyone because not everyone has a phone or knows how to work the camera on it but it would be a logical way of doing it if one had a camera phone and new how to work it.

Catter. I received an application for membership here today from a guy who has expressed an interest in fishing with the club as a non- boater.
Bump me with an im or e-mail and I will hook with his contact info and you can see to work him in.

List updated as of 5/8. Three open boats still and it looks as though Randy Sage is willing to give his up if needed. That would leave us with 1 open boat. Will hold off on pulling that trigger until we get closer...

At this time I wouldn't say you "need" to. Still a lot of time to come up with three more guys.

Given Pickles situation, he will fish with Quinn. as boat # 11.
That done, we are all paired up and ready to go.. Anyone not sure of who or when let me or Will know and we will get it worked out.
