Edited to add Quinn Pease at the end. Back to 14 boats, lots open. Should be a good opportunity to get some guests in and experience tourney fishing!

You can make it easy, just throw in as a non-boater. .. Leave the cat in the shade this trip. That way you don't even need to drive up.. Or get on the horn with your roster and see if you can muster a partner, maybe someone who was not at the meeting and no one heard from... Gotta kinda get up and try to help your self some also..

We have several old no-boaters who have screwed together some old tubs... gotta give them a look at the big deal I guess.
We have lots of non-boaters who are out standing in the weeds for some reason..

the other option is that we can go back to drawing boaters out of thier boats to fill first drawn.. You can have one or the other but not both... !

What ever you want to do!

Looking at the pairing list above there are more or less 6 guys who have gone from non-boaters to proud owners of fine fishing rigs for this event.

Next event at Boji, my guess is the shoe will be on the other foot... We will need more boats... But what ever .. We all signed on to go fish, if it works it works if not stay home I guess and hear about it like I did here at Banner... Man I missed out on a good one there for sure.

my point is that we have more boaters than non I have been saying that all yr. it is just a fact so this is going to be a repeat problem as I see it. I personally think we should draw boaters out of their boats that is the way we have it in the rules but we never do it. I just see this as an going issue is all.that is going to have to be addressed at some time It is a short trip so it ain't no biggie but like i said it is only going to get worse i fear

We have 39 on the roster. 21 possiable boaters and 18 non- boaters. Sorry that is as close to 50/50 as I can get..
Of the 39 possiable members we have 24 planned too attend so far..

You just get your jitterbug tied on and ready to go and leave the rest to us.

It isn't that bad going without a backseater you just better be prepared to throw some good fish back, without carding them.. LOL

I think we all know that the "Boater/Nonboater" problem, is a problem that is being delt with in most all Bass clubs. Some clubs offer incentives to non-boaters just to join their club. I have faith, that our club has the ability to work through any problem.
On the onther hand, I don't trust them Non-boaters. Cool

Yes the problem with verifying fish is a bigger concern than the gas. I think we used to say anything over 15in had to be verified Well maybe we need to move that to 18in to be able to livewell it, you can't really expect people to throw a bunch of 16-17teens back lol. I think this is something that has to be addressed.

Blue lake is like a large bath tub so you should be able to find a person to verify your catch. Just look under the bubbles.
