I've requested Weds Thurs and Fri before off to go up and get some R&R&F done. Brandon is planning on coming up and we may bring the women along. If that's the case we would get our own cabin. Are we planning on the same area this year?

Sioux Brew: Okoboji Brewing announces stout
Story Discussion Sioux Brew: Okoboji Brewing announces stout

Winter Games Select 32 Stout by Okoboji Brewing Company
Okoboji Brewing Company of Spirit Lake has announced another beer in its lineup in a blog posting on its website.

Winter Games Select 32 Stout, a stout brewed with star anise, will join Midwest Charm Farmhouse Ale, Boji Beach Golden Rye Ale and Boji Blue Pale Ale.

Okoboji Brewing Company beers will initially be contract brewed by Great River Brewery in Davenport and sold in 16 ounce, shrink wrapped cans, according to Okoboji Brewing's Rich Hart.

The beers are expected to be on shelves in the Iowa Great Lakes area the second or third week of January, Hart said.

The brewery expects to have equipment in place and begin brewing in late spring or early summer of 2012.

John Solano called this morning and said we have confirmation on the same cabin (1) that we had last June. As I recall cabin sleeps like 12 guys.. Bunk space is available at this time, first come first serve..
Contact Solano to reserve your spot. Reserved for May 31, June 1 and 2.
Cabin price is devided by number of guys staying and everyone pays same same.. One night or all three.

As of the April meeting (4/3) the club cabin is full.

Brandon and myself have reserved the cabin next door as we will be going down earlier. If anyone is in need, we can take an extra guy or two if they are willing to pitch in for the cabin costs. Let me know if anyone is interested, we should be going down early Thursday the 31st, or perhaps even the night of the 30th and staying through Sunday.

I will be unable to attend the meeting before Okoboji. Brandon Herman and myself will be using our option for Okoboji. I'll get the pairings from Brandon or Moose and up on the forums on the 23rd.

We are driving up there Weds night or super early Thursday morning. Getting excited for a mini-vacation!
