Well I find out at work today that I will be leaving for Timonium, Maryland Friday and not getting back till the following weekend. This means the #1 spot is gone, (what a waste!). I have cards made and will get them to Moose and post the blast order after work today.

Anyone interested in running this to get some load off of Moose?!

In response to a concern voiced at the meeting last night requarding the decission to live well fish!
From Iowa DNR web page rules and regs..

Due to changes and or cancelations since the meeting here is the most current launch order.
#1. Moose & Brown JR
#2. Anderson & Brown SR
#3. VonDollen & Utley
#4. Kibbon & Solano
#5. Hovey A & Open
#6. Collins J & Hallaert

At the meeting boat #1, Campbel and Guest. ( Conflict, canceled)
Boat # 2 was Brown & Brown.. (Boat issues) Both agreed to back seat open boats..
Jr joined Moose so Moose at # 8 moved to # 1.
SR joined Anderson so Anderson at #5 moved to # 2.

Collins and Hallaert will be calling launch.

Okay, let me get this straight:

Boat #1 pulls out

Boat #2 moves to #1 and everybody else move up

Boat #1 pulls out again - Only boat #7 moves to #1 based on the previous position of (now) non-boater - Boat #4 moves to #2 baed on previous position of non-boater - the rest of the field moves down based on this change (?).

I don't know that it makes or made any difference in the outcome - but it doesn't make a lot of sense either.

Most everything we do makes sense!
Ok.. To clear up the mud for those who are standing in it.;.
By draw at the end of the meeting we had:
Boat# 1 Campbell and his guest.
#2 not in attendance at the meeting Brown JR and Brown SR.
#3 Von Dollen and Utley.
#4. Kibbon and Solano.
#5 Anderso was open for backseat.
# 6 Al Hovey with an open back seat.
# 7. Jim Collins and Marc Hallaert using ther option.
#8. Moose and an open back seat.
Come tournament day boat # 1 Campbell and guest canceled. Everyone moved up one spot. Boat # 2, Brown and Brown became boat #1 and then decided that thier boat was not ready and offered instead to fill some back seats as non-boaters. It was decided that since Moose and SR had fished together at Three Mile, SR would partner up with Anderson leaving JR to fish with Moose.
By rule: The boats who took on the members of #! (Brown And Brown)assume their launch position.. End result was Moose and JR #!, Anderson and SR # 2. everyone else in order as drawn... .. So that's why and how it worked out like it did.

Once we got launch order figured out we went to work.
We only had 11 out of 34 membes make the trip for this one. (May look at cutting schedule back to just five events for 2012)? See what happens at Icaria.

Days end we had 7 limits and no blanks.
Results were reviewed at the ramp. But forget all of that.. Everything changed in the top three.
After review and by appling generaly accepted math practices we have offical results.
#1 (790) 955 points Chris Kibbon. Chris had scored a 14" fish and overlooked a 17.5" fish for score.. His final score is 955.
#2. (895) 915 points John Solano. Math error was made for total points.
#3. Jim Collins with 910 points.
#4. Nathan Brown JR 660 points
#5. Al Hovey with 615 points.
#6. Dave Anderson with 575 points.
#7. Moose with 565 points.
#8 with 440 points Marc Hallert.
#9. also with 440 points Bob Von Dollen.
#10. Dave Utley with 275.
#11. Nate Brown SR with 90.

Solano had 11 fish on his card one of which was the big fish of the day at 19 7/8. Jim Collins had a 19 3/4.
More to follow I am sure..

Man, I had higher hopes for West Lake. Only gave up 15 Missouri's. Which is only 32%.. Only two fish 18" or over. Anglers prefishing Friday reported that some big fish were caught?

Pickle and I started on the dam. Bass o reno and worm.. Nodda.. Pickle caught two MO's back in the junk West of the road bed. Both were real shallow on wood. Hunt and peck one here one there.. 1 pm we found a shallow brush pile on a ledge that was stacked with 13" ers. Had a good time.

West is not in the mix for 2012.. It is not a lake that we get much for turn out at... To far away for some I guess.
