Sorry Catter.. Razz Evil or Very Mad

A month ago I took a DNR Structure map. I Converted the GPS data on the map too the long and lat that the bird uses.. The conversion put my entered waypoints way out in a corn field North of Corning... So that did not work out like I thought it should have.. Two weeks ago Prentis and I fished a tournament on that lake and Friday evening we went into the pond dam cove and looked using the SI for the pond dam.. It showed up and I marked what I thought was the dam via a waypoint and we went on to look at other things. We never did fish it. Yesterday that was my third spot of the day to try. I navigated to the waypoint I made two weeks ago and we boated 5 fish from it in about an hour.. It helped me in that I knew there was a piece of structure there in that cove and it helped me to find it... If I had not known of the damn I am not sure that I would have found it or reconized it with the SI.. I need a bunch more time on the water with it.. But yes, I would say it helped me to locate deeper structure that held fish this trip.. I think the SI unit once I figure it out will lend it's self more and more to the way I like to fish. In the last couplew years I have worked more to find off shore deep stuff. It playes along to the way I like to fish and that is getting to be the jig almost exclusively.. I did throw a frog for about seven minutes Saturday and then looked down and my jig rod was back in my hand! Also koodo's to my net man Brown SR,, I worked him on the net a fair amount and he never missed a fish Laughing Razz Evil or Very Mad

Thanks Catter..
It was the best sack that I have ever been involved with on that old mud hole.. I sure wish Prentis and I would have tried the damn two weeks ago.. If we would have caught it?? That toad Nate stuck would have pushed the 7# big bass of the day for sure and our over all weight would have pushed the 21# first place sack also..
1st place and big fish as comparied to 3rd place = Lots more money Shocked

I had a lot of fun netting ... Randy gave me some practice that matched some of the catfish days. But I had a lot of fun puttin a couple in the net from the other side too. Thanks Randy! I think I'm gonna work on the way i fish But I don't think I can afford a frog men. :>)

I think i'm gonna have to work on gettin one of them SI units too. What do they cost ? $10,000? or something like that ?

Rod Frederick began the process of maintaining club tournament data records for as far back as 1990 in most cases. Scott Groff kept record for several years once Rod left and I have been updating then since Scott has moved on..
I will have an electronic copy on the web page at season end for everyone check it out.

Three Mile lake Saturday gave up a few new entries to the record book.
Under the 1,200 Individual Point Club.
(Moose with 1325 fish points.)
Under 1900 total boat points.
(Moose and Brown SR with 2150 fish points)
(Anderson and Herman with 1915 fish points)
Top 5 fish points by month.
(Moose 1325 sores #4 for month of July.)
And for big Bass 20" and over!!!
(# 3 largest all time with a 21.625" bass is Nate Brown SR.)
