I wish you would have banished me another 500 miles to the south....But Fork is OK for now. Wink I just need to get the boat out a bit more so that I can get used to all this water. Hoping to hit Ray Roberts on Saturday afternoon....Hoping being the operative word.

If you start a tournament an hour late, then I am going to use that hour to pre-fish. Or in this case, just run up the lake and look around a bit.

I wouldn't try that at any tournaments you fish down there - them Texicans take this s**t seriously.

Thank you for your concern. The events down here typically start before sunrise. But if I enter one that isn't, I will keep that in mind. I did see one that runs for like 18 hours or something crazy like that. Start at 6 PM, fish until Noon the next day? Not sure I could fish all night like that.

Problem solved! We got Tree aka (Pickle) back under internal combustion power last night. We spent the week pulling the old Johnson off, and we hung a 150 Merc on his tub.. We got it fired up last night and tree (Pickle) did some high speed test laps on Manaswamp.. It blew his hat off so I guess it's working.. Being boat # 2 at Brown he will now run clear up to the power plant , just because he can. Now he will have to sell some beer cans to be able to buy gas for that monster ! Very Happy

Hey tree, nothing says thank you like not beating him at the next tournament, lol. Make sure you check with moose before writing down that last 19", you may have to shrink it to 18.5" to keep him in front of you Razz

At this point that is a personnal choice though, not a boat choice. John might throw you out of your own boat if you leave the boat ramp area, so be careful.
