Tree: I would not be surprised if you can't find your drain plug, or your winch strap buckle seems welded shut, something like that so you can't get out in front of everyone at launch.. Smile

I recollect not being able to use a big motor at browns back in '05 or '06... cause it got stuck in reverse! remember that list, lol. You can fish down about 2/3 the way and back in 8 hrs... we did it.

My only question is who is going to do the annual tinboat browns pre tournament victory lap, lol.

I did that one year and was punished for it at the next meeting. If you start a tournament an hour late, then I am going to use that hour to pre-fish. Or in this case, just run up the lake and look around a bit. One year I had a limit at 6:08 in the morning at Browns. You are not even starting until 7.

If tree is planning to t-motor to the other end of the lake, I would let him start out 45 minutes early. By the time blast off hit he might be to the turn. If he listens to John, he won't get more than 100 yards away from the ramp. The year he won Ken T. didn't fire up the Ranger all day long.

Mr. Cota was a bit upset at us for sure (lol). His concern was the wave action on the rocks would ruin his early bite. But since we didn't start all that early, I didn' see an issue with it. I think I was the only one.
