Myself and Corey look good to be heading out early friday afternoon... Get on the water and hammer out as many fish as possible, lol. Let the campfire get roaring to keep bugs away...

When is anyone else headed out?

Just doesn't seem right to be having a campfire at anita without kirby....

Somewhat weird weather for this weekend at Anita. Tomorrow is cloudy, windy, high of 93. Saturday, sunny with a high of only 80… Seems comfortable enough…

The forecast also calls for possible isolated showers on Sat. -- BTW, if I am going to sleep in my truck, do I need to get a camp site so that I will have access to 'lectricity?

Good idea of something to bring up, Shadmaster. Apparently at the Calcutta the DNR was cracking down on the guys who were sleeping in their trucks in the parking lot by the ramp. Apparently was knocking on windows around 11pm saying the park was closed, meaning leave or go pay for a campsite. I’ll plan on getting a site with Corey and someone can split it with us if they would like! Hope it doesn’t sell out prior to Friday evening…

I don't mind helping to pay for a campsite - just wasn't sure how that all worked as I have not done the campfire thing that much - BTW II, you guys hold it down, I'm old and will be trying to sleep Laughing

I figure it's either stay up all night at the camp fire or get up in the middle of the night and drive there. (111111) = 1/2 dozen

That's how we do it at 'boji Wink - BTW III, on last check of the hour by hour forecast, they have taken the rain out for Sat and shoved it all into Friday night - might make for a soggy campfire.
