I just called the Super 8 and got a room for Friday night - I know Jim Collins was planning to stay at the motel and there were several others as well. The cost for a room with 2 queen beds is $49.88 plus tax. We could probably squeeze at least two more in our room, so if you want to split costs - let me know.

Forecast as of today shows high of 67, low of 50, sunny for saturday. No more rain this week until sunday... Fairly consistent, with similar hi's and lows each day this week.

As I recall, he was paired up with Randy W - don't remember the blast order though - Kaptain or Dave - do you have them on the list?

Omaha Bass is holding an"OPEN" tournament on SUNDAY......The day after our Saturday tournament. Some of the players in the Open had there day's mixed up and they were thinking that the Open was on Saturday. We may see some Pre-fishing going on (I'm not sure what the restrictions are) but that's all. Dave spoke to Mozingo, Omaha Bass and the fishermen in question and got everone back on the same page. So Keep in mind that some boaters might seem to be extra friendly and ask ya "Catch-N-any?" it's probably just some one trying to get extra info on the lake. Rolling Eyes

OK this is how it went. I started the day at the "Tom Cota tail gate kitchen" for a cup of Moose coffee and a "Cota Killer Burrito" and away to the ramp in the rain. Stood around till 8:20 and pushed Anderson in the water. With #1 blast, we were on our spot in 12 seconds( the bay at the ramp". Dave prefished the lake on the day before, and found some pretty good fish in there. Dave started filling a card right away, he was Culling before I had a hit,(go figure). All the fish we caught were out of that bay. Black/Blue jig in the stick-up's . He did find a short or two off the bank but the Mo's came from thick stemed brush (stick-ups).
We had a great time. With the weather keeping our intrest up, and the fish cooperating I could not have asked for a better way to spend the day..
