I just checked the Iowa DNR fishing reorts. Has not been updated since 8/28.. The report then was about gills and walleye on the humps and road beds.. One would think, with all of the tournaments held on Three mile, there might be some mention of BASS????

Weather forcast : looks like we will be fishing Three mile during a cool down. Thursday high of 79, Friday high of 56, dropping to 36* for a low Saturday morning under threat of rain showers throughout the day. With a high of 61 forcasted for Saturday.... Shocked Hell might be a good day to walleye fish...

Hey Kap,wish you could of been there with us freezing.
We had a good day in pre-fish,caught a 18 and a 19.5 and 3 or 4 other mo. and a few dinks, the fish were in the trees but the trees were REAL specific.jigs ,jigs and more jigs,oh yeah crankbaits too.
The day of the tournament the fish [our fish ] pulled back, the weather was really wierd ,northe wind switching to s.e. wind on sat.
I didnt want to SISSY fish ,but that would have probable put a few more in my boat.
Although its all about learning and i think next time i am in those condition i will definetly put on the pink skirt and through the little stuff,NO disrespect to anyone who fishes the small baits ,thats just not my style.
