Happy New Year!
Got some jigs, and a couple of BPS pro Quailifer rods and reel.
Going to work on jig fishing and top water this year. Need to get out with John Sr a couple of times to get some jig pointers. I also plan to prefish each lake on the schedule this year, don't want to show up and be lost on what to do.

I got another Revo STX , 4 Frogs, 15 packs of rage craws, a shimano jerkbait box and a partridge in a pear tree! I'm gonna tweek my jerkbait fishing and work in some confidence in some new rigs and baits.

The biggest thing you can work on for jig fishin is accuracy and stealth of the flip or pitch into targets. I work on mine every winter and spring to prep for the season. I have to wait for open water to work on stealth but if you flip and swing your jig close to the ground, the lure will hardly make a splash.

Top water? You killed on a buzzbait and got a 20 incher at three mile!

Happy New Year everyone

About the only thing I am going to work on this year is getting used to fishing out of the front of the boat. I feel this is what will help me get on more and bigger fish.

James, take a deep breath - watch some football - tinker with your tackle - the water will be soft before you know it.

Somebody call Ms. James & tell her to unplug the computer
