In this meeting we talked about how the banquet seemed like everyone was happy .
About the SBBC outdoors swap meet held on Feb7th from 8 to 3pm
our next subject was about the proposed pairing rules which will probably be voted on next meeting.
Next topic was about a formal guideline might need to be made about the age limit . Min age is 18 or 16 with a gaurdian present .
Also talk about the our club tournament event permit fees for Iowa will be going up in 2010 $25 per event we have in Iowa.
This brings us to our next topic of club fees and calcutta year end fee. Our club dues did get voted on and is now raised $5 more which is $25 now. Calcutta year end remains the same at $20

This meeting not much to talk about. First topic was the swap meet as far as everyone is concerned Campfire will be running it again at the same place and same hall the date is Feb 6, 2010.
Second is the warm up event weve decided on Lake Manawa Apr 4, 2009. The start time is 10am and the finish time is 2pm.
Third topic would be our rule book that was revised and voted on as complete to people standards. If any questions about the rules please contact the president or vice .

How'd the meeting go? Everyone seem anxious to start the year? Looking forward to seeing the blast off order. Any good rumors, reports, or news going around? Wish I could be over there more often...

9 members made it to the meeting last night. We reviewed 12 Mile Tournament. Touched on Yearend Tournament series. Reviewed Calcutta of Champions. Touched on year end Calcutta finals.

Discussed swap meet some, it was decided that we keep door admission and table fees same as last year. (I sent first round of reqistrations out this morning and have 8 tables spoken for.)

We attempted to decide a date and a location for awards banquet. The Rose in Trayner IA was offered but some in attendance wanted something different.. If someone has other ideas and can make other arraingments please present them..

March 2010. 14 showed up.
some dues were collected.
Welcome Robby Van to the roster.
Welcome AL Hovey to the meeting. AL will be back at the April meeting to join.
We did a reveiw of the swap meet. Membership wants to do it again in 2011. We need to look for a different location in my opinion. Any ideas let me know.
2010 tournament rules were offered for review and consideration. Two revisions were requsted. More to follow on that soon.
Next month APRIL. Bring your dues........ Really hate to deal with that stuff on the ramp.. Our first tournament is 4/17.. Dues are to be paid for points to count..

Welcome Al Hovey and George Westphal to the club.
Our current roster is 27. With a few guys who have not checked in so far.
Things decided at the meeting: Club rules for 2010 season were accepted.
Okoboji Tournament in June. Given the head count of expected attendance for this event I will contact Camp Okoboji today to reserve two cabins. As in the years past we will have them Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.
Swap meet: I will contact Holiday INN today and reserve the heartland Hall for Saturday Feb 5, 2011.
It was decided that we will move the location of our first Calcutta of the season from Wherspahn to Walnut Creek on 4/10/2010. And the May 1 Calcutta will be held on Wherspann.. Questions ? Call Pipe!
Brown Tournament pairing was drawn and Groff has posted the line up.
