| Hit wersphann last night with a bucket of minnows. Me & cousin brought home 12 crappies, 1 bluegill, and a 2lb cat. Great night to be out... Would have thought it was memorial day weekend at boji there were so many boats for a wed night... completely full parking lot...trailers and trucks all over grass. easily over 30 boats on the water. |

Water temps 58°F
buck bass in abundance...a few big girls were found on upper end.
Bucks were all 'nice' at 13-14 inches and chunky. Taking white spinnerbaits, weightless soft plastics...
Week prior it had been soft plastics and suspending jerkbaits... |

| Back after the crappie at the W last night… 2 of us in the boat… Took about 2 hours of searching to find the crappie… The cold front over the weekend and into yesterday moved them off the banks to the 6ft breaks. As soon as we found them, it took about 30 minutes to get our 20. My cousin also hit a bonus crankbait eye… 19.5”er. 2 crappie were small, about 7”. The rest were nice, 9-10.5”. |

Greg Wagner reported on channel 6 last night that Lake Mc Connahey is almost full. Just a few feet down, and the Spring melt has not yet started.
Should be in great shape for the season. _________________ "Luck" is where "Preparation" and "Opportunity" meet. |

NG&P has their 2010 Fishing Forecast report with 2009 Sampling Results - Summit comes in 2nd for LMB with most of them being in the 12" to 15" range - Walnut Creek is 10th. You might want to give it a looky see. _________________ Fishing is easy - all you have to do is the right thing, in the right way, at the right time, in the right place. |
