I contacted the folks at the Holiday Inn this afternoon and asked them to draft a contract for our 2010 event. At this point we are looking at the Heartland Hall again on Feb 06, 2010.

I placed swap meet ads in the World Herald, American Classified, and Iowa Farm and Ranch today. World Herald tought he would get us in the Outdoor section this Sundy. Classifeds will begin to run like Jan 15 is..
We have 30 tables spoken for at this time. We will pound on it next week to fill them out.. I have some 500 fliers left that need to be spread out. They will be at the meeting Tuesday.. Hope for warm weather.. The parking lot at Holiday inn looks like the Queen Mary Glacier field .. We may have to park at Pipes and all take the bus to the hotel..

Who is selling what this weekend? I will have quite a few crankbaits for sale. Ones that are not in packages will be just $1 each, and ones that have not been opened will be only $2 each. Buy one or buy them all and start your tackle shop. Cool

I was going to let my snow blower go, but looks like I will still need it for a while.

Good job Randy, Dan and all that helped to make the event a success. Thanks Dave for bringing the carts .Thanks to all the guys that moved customers in and out. And the guys that watched the coffee pot, you guys are the best. Laughing Bill and Rocky did a great job at the door, and even the"New Guys" really pitched in.
This should be a great start to the season.
