As some of you know, Flw has promoted and run a "Fantasy Fishing for Million$" leage online now for a few years. The 2008 seasons website did not work very well. I lost interest quick... The 2009 website worked a lot better.. In a nut shell it works like this. For each FLW event scheduled you pick your team of 10 fishermen from a roster that is posted. From your team of ten you score points based on each of your fishermans finishes, with exacta picks scoring extra points.. Prize awards are made after each event to the top 25 or so. Your event points are then added together to calculate your season end points and decides your seasons end prize award. The first place finisher wins a cool $1,000,000.00 bucks.. Second place is a Ranger bass boat worth $54,000.00.
I know Rod, Scott and I played. There may have been others in the club that did as well? . As the season came to an end here last month I see that I finished in 21,349 th place...What I got for the effort was an invitation to come back and play again next season. And you can bet that I will! . I don't know how Rod finished up. I will have to check on that..
Scott Groff: was in the hunt from the first event. I am sorry to tell you that he did not win the MILLION Bucks or the new boat but what he did score for his effort was like money in the bank or gas in the tank!
Congratulations Scott for your 24th place finish in the FLW Fantasy fishing league series. _________________ Don't Worry... It'll all work out at the ramp! |

If anyone is interested in my fantasy fishing system it is available for a modest price at www.makescottrichsohecanfishmore.com.
Seriously, this is 90 to 95% luck. Bonus points get paid for picking guys in the top 10. I think Rod did this at least one more time than I did this year. The difference for me was actually having guys finish in the same place that you pick them in. This is where you really earn bonus points. I was able to do this five times this year. I had the winner in the first event and picked two more in the places where they finished which was good for 4th place and a Walmart gift card. The rest of the year I was up and down and did not win anything again until the last event when I had three top tens with one finishing in the place I picked him in.
The game is really fun and I can't wait to play again next year. _________________ Work is for people who don't know how to fish! |

Congrats Scott on your 24th place finish!!! Even though you didn't win anything big like the boat or a million bucks you won something that will really benefit you with the way the economy is. (1200 BP gas) _________________ I'm just sitting here clicking my life away. |
